Does God Speak to Us When We Pray?

Well, I thought I might get some more comments in my last post when I stated it as a given that God speaks outside of the Bible, and then asked for specific examples of how He does so from those who have heard from Him in these extra-biblical ways.

So, here’s another one. Does God speak to us when we pray, or is prayer one-way communication? I am interested in concrete thoughts about this, and am really interested in hearing what anyone out there thinks about the subject of prayer and God speaking though it.

I will get it started…

I do not believe that God speaks to us when we pray (more on my view later).

Anyone…Bueller…Anyone?
