From the mouth (and hopefully the heart) of my six-year-old son, Caleb:
An Allstate commercial came on (you know, the ones with David Palmer, former president of the US on the series 24), in which a simulated crash is usually shown and the host asks, “Are you in good hands?”.
Caleb walks into the kitchen halfway talking to himself and halfway asking out loud, “Good hands? Doesn’t he know we’re in God’s hands? Doesn’t he know God is in control?”
Out of the mouth of babes!

I just saw a very funny thing and had to share it. While driving around today I noticed on a piece of property a brand spankin’ new church sign…but with no church attached! The land has been in development for some time, and I knew it would eventually host a “Christian” Church (Disciples of Christ), but it just struck me funny today when I drove past the site and saw only a new church sign with no church building. Not even a foundation yet for the building…just a fancy new sign out in front of a bunch of dirt.
I guess they want to start broadcasting their pithy slogans even before they start meeting there as a congregation.
